There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor. |
December is always a festive time in the city and I knew I wanted to plan something to celebrate the holiday season. I remember as a kid my Mom taking me to see A Christmas Carol at the American Conservatory Theater and I thought this would be perfect!
As a bonus, the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition was offering Bike valet parking right out front, which was a perfect way to throw Chris off the scent of the evening's activity. We hopped on our bikes and pedaled over to the ACT.
The show was just as merry as I remembered. There’s something about A Christmas Carol that really puts you in the Christmas spirit. Surprisingly the classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge and Tiny Tim was only upstaged by the Ghost of the Christmas Past, who was reprised by a larger-than-life Rastafarian man with a giant booming voice! Only in San Francisco.
Riding home amongst the twinkling lights, we could feel the city alive with the holiday spirit. It was certainly a “pinch me please” moment to cap a fine evening!
