Chris and I had just moved to Palo Alto, and I decided it was time for a Peninsula-centric Mystery Date. I had long admired the historic Stanford Theater and landed on a classic date: dinner and movie. Breakfast at Tiffany's was showing so I knew this was going to be a score!

The anticipation mounted as we rode our bikes from our new apartment downtown. I took Chris to one of my favorite restaurants, University Cafe, another downtown Palo Alto classic. We sat outside on the balmy summer evening as we munched on french fries, sipped wine and enjoyed some excellent people watching. We made our way down to the theater and took a step back in time to marvel at Audrey Hepburn in all her acting glory as Holly Golightly. It was a fun way to get to explore what our new hometown had to offer.
