After Kathleen’s reaction to our last Brian Regan Mystery Date, I just couldn’t pass up another opportunity to see him. This time around he was at Mountain Winery, a outdoor venue magically nestled in the Saratoga hills. Neither of us had ever seen a comedy show under the stars, but Brian (and his brother) lit up the stage for another side splitting evening.
The show was a later in the evening, so I figured we should grab some dinner and drinks beforehand. Being in the South Bay for the show, I took the opportunity to go to Aqui Cal-Mex, a restaurant I fondly remember as the first place I ever tasted a delicious, NorCal burrito! We saddled up to the bar to enjoy the food paired with their delectable Sangria Swirls (a frozen, swirly blend of margarita and sangria). YUM!
